The Cyrano R3 Snake is virtually identical to its mate, the R1. The difference is that while the R1 is carbon fiber, the R3 is more economical aluminum Ergal. Yes, it weighs about 40 grams more than the R1, but for riders who like the security of aluminum versus the weight savings of carbon, it's ideal. The Cyrano R3 is available in four widths: 400mm, 420mm, 440mm, and 460mm. These widths accommodate a wide variety of riders. The reach is 80mm in the 400mm and 85 in the other three sizes, and the drop ranges from 130mm in the 400mm version, to 140mm in the three wider bars.

The reach and drop measurements sound similar to other handlebars. So, what makes this bar ideal for a rider classified as a Snake? The shape of the drop. The nature of the highly flexible Snake means that they are able to reach almost any position in a traditional rounded drop handlebar. Therefore, the bend is almost a full 180-degree bend versus the more abrupt or shallower bends of the Chameleon or Bull handlebar.

The Cyrano R3 Handlebar weighs roughly 245 grams for the 420mm bar. It comes in four sizes from 400mm to 460mm and in the color Black.  Cyrano series is designed to form the cockpit, when combined with the Cyrano stem and seatpost.
