2016 Litespeed M1 Race

Elite-level carbon construction has never been more accessible. The M1 is built to exceed the demands of training and racing, day in and day out, with design features that are unheard-of at this price point.

The M1 is built upon a unidirectional monocoque 24T carbon frame and fork -- a construction method that’s typically reserved for more expensive bikes. Up front, a tapered headtube provides precise handling and stiffness, resisting flex even during out-of-the-saddle efforts.
Besides being unquestionably stiff, the down tube has a trick up its sleeve: We’ve incorporated aerodynamic shaping to help mask the effect of mounting up a round water bottle. The down tube, seat tube and chainstays are all shaped for lateral stiffness and vertical compliance; they come together around the box-section symmetric bottom bracket profile.

Throw in a stiff PF30 BB - compatible with virtually any crankset or crank-based power meter you want to you use - and we ensure that your M1 is getting all the horsepower you’re giving.

"The high level of stiffness in both the bottom bracket and front end were apparent from the get-go, and we enjoyed the bike’s subsequent ability to maintain an efficient pace with solid, predictable handling." - Road Bike Action, November 2015.
