2018 Argon 18 E119+ Tri Frameset

The “+” of the Argon 18 E-119+ Tri refers mostly to the accessories they included with the frameset. You need to eat and drink and carry stuff in a triathlon, and the included accessories not only allow you to do that, but keep them all very aero.

2018 Argon 18 E119 Tri Frameset

The Argon 18 E-119 Tri bike is the summation of everything Argon 18 has learned about cheating the wind and riding fast. Argon 18 is a big believer in balance. The bike can’t just be aero in a headwind, but it also has to work in all the sidewind yaw angles. It needs to be light without compromising stiffness. It has to hold a straight line easily, but turn well.

2018 Argon 18 E117+ Tri Frameset

The “+” of the Argon 18 E-117+ Tri refers to two things. First is to the fact that the frameset is over 100g lighter than the standard version. That weight comes in handy in general. But it also helps offset the weight of the accessories they included with the frameset. You need to eat and drink and carry stuff in a triathlon, and the included accessories not only allow you to do that, but keep them all very aero.

2018 Argon 18 E117 Tri Frameset

The Argon 18 E-117 Tri time trial frameset was released simultaneously with the E-119, and both are successors to the E-118 Next. The E-117 is the UCI-legal, travel-friendly version. It’s still blazing fast, but with similar geometry, more front end adjustability, less aggressive tube shaping, simpler brakes, and a slightly more comfortable ride.

2018 Argon 18 Gallium Frameset

When Argon 18 first went to the WorldTour, their marquee bike was the Gallium. While they debuted the Gallium Pro since, the Gallium was so good, they kept in in the lineup. It’s lots of bike, lighter than many pro-level offerings, and very much in the Argon 18 tradition of building balanced steeds.

Argon 18 Gallium Pro Team Astana Frameset

The Gallium Pro embodies the essence of what the company has meant and has been striving for since its beginnings 25 years ago. As it’s always been the case with Argon 18 bikes, the new Gallium Pro incorporates a solid grasp of traditional time-tested cycling knowledge and cutting-edge technological research and advancements. Thanks to the exceptional stiffness to weight ratio made possible by the 790g carbon frameset, response is even more immediate and handling is razor-sharp on any terrain.

2018 Argon 18 Nitrogen Frameset

Like all aero road frames, the shaping of the Nitrogen’s tubes speaks to this bike’s purpose: cutting a clean line through the wind and minimizing drag. It’s aimed at sprinters, breakaway artists, and anyone who spends time riding solo including shorter distance triathletes.

The aero engineering starts up front with a modified version of Argon 18’s 3D head tube system. This technology allows you to structurally adjust the head tube height so that you can raise or lower the handlebar position without the usual crutch of traditional headset spacers.
